My niece turns 7 tomorrow. We celebrated her birthday today. She loves horses. Ever since she was little she has had a fascination with them. It's funny because my sister used to ride horses and now she has a daughter following in her footsteps. So, I found this fabric and made her a skirt...with what else...horses!
This adorable corduroy fabric is from JoAnn fabrics. The galloping, horses are tan in color and embroidered. I think it's the perfect fall fabric. I made the skirt using the Turkey Dressing skirt pattern (AKA Can-Can Skirt) over at MADE. I left off the chiffon ruffles.
I paired it with a pink shirt (pink is her favorite color) and included her monogram in brown.
I also made her a Hobo sack from the MADE tutorial list. It was a quick and easy bag that she can use to store all of those horse figurines!
